Fossils of ‘hobbit’s found, is it an insult to real hobbitses?
We all know that Hobbits are a proud and noble race. Intelligent, and sophisticated, they excelled in the culinary arts, brewing, building subterranean structures and exhibited complex intellectual abilities.
According to the article a new missing link has been found that ’scientists’ have dubbed ‘hobbits’. This is an insult to the great hobbit race IMO. How many of you are outraged? What do you plan to do about it?

can we focus on the real issue here which is the hobbits?
What kind of education level do i need to attend johnson and wales culinary institute?
Im only a freshman in high school, but have decided not to go for a full college experience and rather a culinary degree. Im not to sure though exactly what level of eduction i would need to attend. If there is any minimum level of culinary school, or anything of the sort. It would also be helpful to know if there is a required gpa level. Thank you! =)
Has anyone ever taken a cooking course?
I wish to take a culinary course and I have even found some schools which specialize in it that may help me. Is there anyone out there who’s taken a course in cooking before? What should I expect? By the way, I already know how to cook but I am interested in taking these courses to learn how to do a nice food presentation.
Is college really so important if you know what you’re going to do in life?
I want to know if college is rally important for me. I don’t want to go to college, but everyone keeps telling me I have to, although I don’t need a college education to be a chef. Just because I don’t want to go to college doesn’t I don’t want to go to school, I’d just rather go to a vocational school like the CIA or the French Culinary Institute instead of a regular college that has a cooking program, like Johnson&Wales. Is it really THAT important to go to college that you have to go even if there are other options for furthering your education?
Graduated from a culinary school in the US. Want to study cooking in Japan. Any ideas how?
Done an internship already and do not speak Japanese, but willing to learn. Are there programs out there to help?
What should I do? High school, which feels like a wasted year? College in the spring, with my GED? Help!?
Okay…I’ve been attending a ritzy private high school for the past three years, hating nearly every moment of it. This year my parents had enough and pulled me out. They’re thinking I’m going to go to the public high school for senior year. I was wondering about other possibilities, yet I need advice from people that aren’t related to me or my friends from that afore-mentioned high school, since I doubt they’ll condone my thinking. So I’m considering getting my GED, but does that leave a stigma? And then, not to waste this next year only getting the 1 or 2 credits I need to graduate, especially where I might need to take some basic classes over again at a public school, I could possibly enter college this coming spring semester. I’m not one that is really looking to go to Harvard or Stanford or anything, but I’m thinking of going to the state school, then perhaps culinary school, or a good writing program elsewhere. Any suggestions or advice? I think I’m done with high school, but…
I am a culinary student 27 years old. I love to cook more than anything. I want to open a LUNCH TRUCK!?
How do I do this? Do I need a license? I already have SERVSAFE sanitation Certificate. How much money will I need??

What’s the best option for international calling cards [US call to Italy]?
My boyfriend is in culinary school in Italy through October. I’ve reached my breaking point with the quality of Skype so I’m looking into calling cards. I live in Connecticut & I’ll be making the calls from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Tour, if that matters. But I have zero knowledge of calling cards & I have three month old triplets; which results in me having zero time for any research. The price doesn’t really matter – but the more minutes the better.
Thanks in advance!
