I’ve always wanted to be an artist, I like to paint, and I wanted to do that for a while, then I got more creative and wanted to be a photographer. I just love taking beautiful shots, but I realized that I wouldn’t be traveling or anything like that to take exotic shots, and I got tired of it. Then I wanted to be a chef, the culinary business, starting off as an assistant chef. Then I realized that I probably won’t be able to afford that realizing my family’s past failures. =.=’ Then I realized, all of the times that I wanted to choose a career, makeup always popped up into my mind, but I thought I could never do it because I didn’t even have the supplies. But now I do. So it’s all back to wanting to be an artist again, but this time a makeup artist. But is it reasonable? How can I get into a college? What training do I need? How much work is needed to be put into this? What experience do I need? If you live in Ontario, most likely Toronto, please tell me any good colleges for aesthetics. Something not private, and something like George Brown, Sheridan, Humber, etc. I’m 16 and I have a couple years to decide! Help! Thanks so much in advance~!!
Is this a reasonable career?

You could go to one of those expensive make-over places and apply

There are loads of potential problems for teenagers in work, many of them legislative, moms and dads want to be careful about that. There is loads of assistance from the website in the box below on this topic, they also have assistance for all people who are looking for work, or who want to change careers.

Go to a decent art college. In the US the course is called the Bachelor of Fine Arts. Pick a college that has a strong “foundation year” program, where they will give you extensive studio work in the basics of art: drawing, design, and so forth. You’ll need those basics if you are going to excel in any fine-arts work, be it painting, photography, fashion, set design, or makeup.
To get in you’ll need to present a portfolio of your work. So, do a lot of art work and keep it. Take photos and keep them if you can’t put the work itself in your archive (like if you do makeup work).
Art is a fine profession for those who take it seriously.
