Culinary School in Sacramento

Does anyone know the approximate cost of this 30 week program. I tried getting information from the school but they decline to give me any of this information without setting up a meeting. I would really like to attend this school, but can’t afford to travel to California just to find out the cost of attending the program. I am more than 1000 miles away. Thanks for any help.

I have been a home cook for a long time but I am considering starting my own catering business. Do you learn the techniques of ‘volume cooking’ or are you primarily learning skills you can apply at most restaurants no matter what they type of cuisine they are serving?

Looking for a school I can attend part-time.

im a junior so my time is running short, i want to be a chef but eventually i would like to own my own resturant and cook in it well thats my goal, not like a chain of resturants like a mom and pop shop that people will love but i dunno if i need to go to college and get like a buisness degree in like managment or something then go to culinary school… i dunoo help? advice?

Don’t get me wrong I will be working online to get my high school diploma I am 18 and I can’t stand school anymore (medical reasons like depression) I feel like I am only happy when I play with my dog, cook, or learn about anicent history please help me I would like to become an apprentice to a pastry chef how can I do that?

i’ve checked out pittsburghs la courdon bleu school in PA…but tuition is such a bitch. it’s 50,000 for 16 months…12 of which your at the school…4 of which is externship…and that includes on campus living. My mom and i have looked online at Columbus Culinary in Ohio. where im from. I’m going to see it friday…if anyone could please please please shed some light about it’s tuition and facilities, and perks that would be much appriciated. the most info gets best answer. I am just a regular college student looking to learn how to cook during the summer since I have never really cooked for myself before. I am extremely excited to learn but I don’t really want to go into some intense lessons where the students are preparing for some culinary careers. Although my mom is a great cook, she feels that it would be easier for me to learn by attending some real classes and then I could just learn some other things from her. And I also think it would be really fun to take some cooking lessons. Does anyone know a good and nice place around Queens or NYC?

hi im 17 years old. and i have a passion for cooking.baking. Im still looking for a college,university or a culinary school that wil last for at least 2 years. I have a question how long is FCI. if i want to manage a restaurant, what do i do? Where do i start at my age? and How can i become one?

Being a restaurant manager do you get paid well? Going off to FCI, is that culinary institute expensive financially? I just really want to know how long do you stay in that school to become like any other professional chef/manage in hotels of some sort?? Helpp me out. Ive started cooking and baking when i was 12 and im really interested but i dont know what kind of a beginner level they would be in FCI.

I am going to be a senior in high school and want to go to culinary school and work in the restaurant business but I wanted to know if:
A. How long does it take to gaduate culinary school?
B. Can I go straight from High school to culinary School

I wanted to go to a reaalllly good culinary school, maybe out of america, but after just looking at the Baltimore International college, the closest place to me, they require to years of college first. Is that what i have to do, what if you dont want to waste your time going to school
